The Vermont 100 Endurance Race is one of the original 100 mile runs in the USA and a part of the Grand Slam Series of Ultrarunning. Each year, 300 runners attempt to finish this hilly race over beautiful Vermont back roads and trails under the 30 hour cutoff point, and a well-trained few finish in under 24 hours. The race proceeds support Vermont Adaptive.

Giving Tuesday at Vermont 100/Vermont Adaptive

Planning for the 2017 Vermont 100 is underway, so we wanted to let you know about registration, which will open in January.  Full details and registration are available here.  The 2017 Vermont 100 will be on July 15-16.

If you are interested in securing your spot for the event now, we are currently accepting registration into the Vermont Adaptive Team Run 2 Empower, which is the newly branded charity runner program.  If you are interested, email the Race Director ( to learn more!

Most importantly, tomorrow (Nov. 29th) is Giving Tuesday.  Vermont Adaptive (which the VT100 is a fundraiser for) is a wonderful program that empowers individuals with disabilities through year-round, statewide sports and recreation.  They have an anonymous donor that will match all donations to Vermont Adaptive tomorrow - so any donation will have double the impact!  Please consider making a donation (no matter how small) to Vermont Adaptive tomorrow.  You can donate here, or decide to donate to any of the 2017 Team Run 2 Empower participants who are already fundraising.

Happy trails, and we hope to see may of you this summer!
